Terms of Use

These terms govern the use of the website and Legalito. They are a provisional text pending legal review.

Last updated: Provisional — pending legal review.

Legal review

TODO: Provisional text. Pending review and approval by the firm's lawyer. Reference: applicable Peruvian law, including Law No. 29733 on personal data protection. Do not publish without review.

Acceptance of the terms

By accessing and using this website you accept these terms of use. If you do not agree, do not use the site or its contact channels. Use of certain services may be subject to additional conditions.

Purpose of the site

The site presents institutional information about the firm, its practice areas, its professionals and its contact channels. It also allows users to submit an enquiry through the form or the Legalito assistant. The published information is general in nature and does not replace a professional assessment of a case.

No legal advice or lawyer-client relationship

The content of the site and Legalito's responses do not constitute definitive legal advice and do not create a lawyer-client relationship. That relationship is established only through a professional engagement accepted by the firm, under the applicable conditions and documentation.

The firm does not guarantee outcomes or promise a particular conclusion to a case. Decisions about an enquiry should be made after reviewing the facts, documents and applicable deadlines.

Permitted use

You agree to use the site lawfully and respectfully. You must not:

  • Submit false or misleading information, or third-party information without authorisation.
  • Share identity documents, bank details, passwords or especially sensitive information through the chat.
  • Attempt to access systems, data or restricted areas, interfere with security or carry out mass extraction of content.
  • Use the site for unlawful or abusive purposes or in a way that infringes the rights of third parties.

Legalito and artificial intelligence

Legalito uses artificial intelligence to guide the conversation, organise the enquiry and identify the area of interest. It is not a lawyer, does not provide definitive legal advice and does not create a lawyer-client relationship. Its responses may be incomplete or inaccurate and must be reviewed by a professional.

The chatbot may store the conversation, messages, contact data, area, summary, consent and technical data. Messages are sent to an artificial intelligence provider to generate the response. Do not send sensitive data or confidential documents. The contact form is available as an alternative without AI.

The processing of chat data is explained in more detail in the Privacy Policy.

Intellectual property

The name, logo, texts, design and other site content belong to the firm or are used with authorisation. They may not be reproduced, modified, distributed or commercially exploited without prior authorisation, except for uses permitted by law.

External links

The site may include links to third-party services, such as maps or email providers. The firm does not control those services and is not responsible for their content, policies or availability. Review their terms before using them.

Limitation of liability

The site is provided as is and may experience interruptions, errors or outdated information. To the extent permitted by law, the firm is not liable for damages arising from use of the site, inability to access it or reliance on general information. This limitation does not exclude rights that the law grants on a mandatory basis.

Privacy

The processing of personal data is governed by our

Privacy Policy

which forms part of these terms. TODO: Review the relationship between both documents with the firm's lawyer.

Changes

The firm may modify these terms to reflect legal, technical or operational changes. The current version will be published on this page with its update date. Use of the site after a modification implies acceptance of the new version to the extent permitted by law.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Peruvian law. Unless a mandatory rule provides otherwise, any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Cajamarca, Peru. TODO: Confirm the jurisdiction and dispute resolution clauses with the firm's lawyer.
